Във връзка с участието на БАТА като партньор в проект по програмата LEONARDO DA VINCI ARGO молим да дадете мнението си по изготвения профил на професията "Маркетинг Опреатор в Туризма".


Description of the professional role

The professional (technical) expert  in integrated tourism organisation and marketing  relates to public and private entities as an actor of sustainable development in a territory.

He/she mainly carries out projects (analysis, plans, start, management, evaluation) for the integration and enhancement of local resources.

Description of activities

1. To make use of information and communication  technology resources in everyday professional activities

To be able to:

  • have a good command of  information gathering and process techniques, in everyday professional activities
  • take advantage of information and communication techniques in everyday professional activities

2. To make use of communication and marketing techniques ( including those related to new technologies ) applied to the sector of  tourism

To be able to:

  • take advantage of communication techniques in the organisation and promotion of integrated tourism
  • communicate, in the oral as well as in the written form, using new technologies in the field of tourism marketing
  • use the relevant professional and extra-professional information adequate to promote the product and the tourism image of the territory

3. To survey and analyse the characteristics and resources of a tourism pole

To be able to:

  • identify operators and partners (public and private) involved in the development of a tourism pole
  • identify (and handle) relevant information to exploit the geographic-environmental, landscape, historical, artistic, cultural, judicial and normative, socio-economic, logistic and structural resources of the territory in question

4. To analyse market structure and trends and the tourism offer system in the territory

To be able to:

  • identify the tourism offer and its different components particularly referring to customers and their specific needs
  • analyse tourism demand and market trends
  • anticipate demand trends to adapt the tourism product to such demand

5. To participate in the definition and promotion of the tourism (vocation and) image of the territory in agreement with the public and private entities involved.

To be able to:

  • interact with public and private entities to define the tourism ( vocation and) image of the territory
  • encourage accords and agreements aimed at planning the integrated tourism offer
  • identify strategies for integrated tourism development

6. To create relationships and synergies between interested parties, aimed at the tourism development of the territory.

To be able to:

  • еstablish relationships and collaborate with public and private entities to carry out the defined development plans
  • manage the relationships with the different social partners involved in tourism development
  • establish effective and efficient communication channels between the different subjects involved

7. To develop and accomplish  an integrated tourism offer (actions and products) complying with quality system and the current legislation

To be able to:

  • identify types of promotion suitable for different markets, on the basis of the existing resources
  • handle global marketing strategies to promote the product and the tourism image of the territory
  • conceive, develop and perform activities for the local tourism promotion complying with quality principles and the current legislation
  • apply regional, national, European and international legislations within the reference context, particularly considering customer care regulations.
  • 8. To manage a tourism project

    To be able to:

  • define, design, manage and evaluate the tourism project according to the strategic plan
  • gather and process financial and economic data of the project; to foresee solutions for critical problems emerging in the project
  • evaluate the quality of a tourism project.
  • 9. To monitor integrated tourism offer quality

    To be able to:

  • control and constantly improve, the quality of the integrated tourism offer according to the requests and in view of customer satisfaction
  • implement plans for the continuous improvement of quality in the integrated tourism offer
  • encourage awareness activities aimed at solving the problems perceived and overcoming the inadequacies detected
  • develop methodologies for surveying and monitoring Customer Care and Customer satisfaction
